James Blake again rocked Arthur Ashe Stadium last night. With two night matches before him, Blake and Stfan Koubek didn’t even throw up the first serve until 10:24, so when you look at it one way it was a quick match—even though it ended at 1 a.m. with Blake winning in four sets.

He was asked if the night stuff is getting to be a habit.

“Starting to get into my sleep patterns it seems like,” Blake said. “But I don’t know if I’m used to being up this late. It’s kind of tough to wind down afterwards to get into a rhythm getting right to sleep.”

He will play Tommy Haas on Monday, in a match I predict CBS will want for the daytime.
